Dr. Scott Payne, a Texas Native and co-owner of Parkway Family Chiropractic ,twenty plus years in practice, He Graduated from Texas Chiropractic College with a Doctorate in Chiropractic Medicine in 2004. While pursuing his education, he also received a Bachelors of Science in Human Biology. During the course of his academic tenure, Dr. Payne achieved the highest academic recognition possible with induction into Omega Psi Honor Society, and graduation honors of Class Salutatorian, Magna Cum Laude. Dr. Payne is licensed by the Texas Board of Chiropractic Examiners and the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners. He is a member of the Texas Chiropractic Association and American Chiropractic Association. Dr. Payne started Parkway Family Chiropractic with his wife and has been awarded Houston’s Top Chiropractor Award each year in practice.
Dr. Payne is committed to the fact that patient’s deserve to be healthy. His goal is to help his patient’s understand that their choices and behaviors ultimately determine their level of health. Dr. Payne has appeared as a wellness expert on national television shows as well as local Houston news and radio for his work to help patients heal without the use of drugs and surgery. Dr. Payne also enjoys teaching wellness seminars at many Houston based companies.
Currently Dr. Payne has a post doctorial training in clinical Pain Management, Clinical Acupuncture, Non-Surgical Spinal Decompression and Nutrition Practices. Dr. Payne specializes in Alternatives Treatments to Spine Surgery with conditions related to: Disc Pain, Nerve Pain, Sports Injuries and degenerative conditions of the spine.
When not working Dr. Payne enjoys time playing golf, soccer, baseball and playing with son Jace and his daughter girl Lexi.
Dr. Gina Zummo-Payne, D.C., CACCP, IBCLC
Dr. Gina Zummo-Payne is the owner of Parkway Family Chiropractic Clinic and has been serving families in the Houston and Sugar Land area for over twenty years. Originally from the Alief/Sugar Land area, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition from Texas A&M University before graduating Magna Cum Laude from Texas Chiropractic College, where she was inducted into the Omega Psi Honor Society for highest academic achievement.
Dr. Gina has advanced training in prenatal, pediatric, and family chiropractic care and is one of the few chiropractors certified by the Academy Council of Chiropractic Pediatrics (CACCP) and trained in the Webster Technique. She is also certified in acupuncture and is a Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), allowing her to provide comprehensive support for mothers and babies during pregnancy, postpartum recovery, and the breastfeeding journey.
She is board certified by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners and the Texas State Board of Chiropractic Examiners and is an active member of both the Texas Chiropractic Association and the American Chiropractic Association. Dr. Gina has also been honored with the H-Texas Houston Top Chiropractor Award each year since opening Parkway Family Chiropractic.
As a mother of two, Dr. Gina is passionate about helping families thrive. Outside the office she enjoys spending time with her family, crafting and embroidering, volunteering with the PTO, and occasionally cooking a large traditional Italian meal for family and friends.
